The Blog Within a Blog: Project Management 911

by Bob Turek on October 29th, 2007

Ok- I’m going to try something to increase traffic, which is what all good bloggers are supposed to do. Let’s try this- give me some of your toughest PM problems, things that have been nagging you for a long time, so we can start solving them with all the brain power that is linked to this blog. I’ll compile the problems, select them, offer solutions, and ask for solutions. I won’t promise to get to everybody’s problem but this should be extremely useful and a fantastic learning experience for all of us.

I’ve got one that I partially solved but would still like to hear what you have to say. It’s about selling a project. What do you do when you are about to sign off on a contract and the prospect attends one of your seminars that goes bad? After seeing that your company can’t run a seminar, they are wondering out loud if you can run a project. (Hint: you can’t say I should have kept them out of the seminar).
