FLASH! “Links, Links, Links” in Blogging Like “Location, Location , Location” in Real Estate
I’m still so new to blogging. But I’ve learned a lot about it: how to write better posts, highlighting, commenting, linking, and blinking until my eyes turn red. What seems to be very important is linking to other bloggers who have a lot of traffic- well, duh!
But it takes time- people have to find you, the search engines have to crank a few times, and loyal readers have to be developed. This blog project is constantly being updated, re-strategized, and, thank God, being mentored by my b5 media Business Channel cohorts.
I want to thank the Top 5 sites that have produced “linkers” to my blog:
No. 1. www.itknowledgeexchange.techtarget.com - in particular Margaret Rouse and her fine “overheard” blog- truly a collaborative effort.
No. 2. www.copyblogger.com - my “all about blogging” web site.
No. 3. www.leadershipturn.com - Miki Saxon’s excellent, thought provoking, mind meld.
No. 4. www.b5media.com - the flagship of blogging!
No. 5. www.pimpyourwork.com - not fond of the word pimp, but excellent and interesting stuff.
Giving credit where credit is due is something you have to simply stop and do during a project. It gets people on your team caring about their work and working for you. Hope you check out the sites listed- they are all attracting a lot more readers than I am, which is why I have a few.

Bob, you have very kind and pointed people to my site over these past few months. Many thanks.
Despite blogging being a stats driven game, I think you have a quality of thought here that attracts a quality audience. This will be the true value proposition in the long run. Keep it up!!

Sensei- I really appreciate the comments and the mental stimulation. I wonder if quality and stats work together- I suppose in the long run.
